Feedback

Visiting Massachusetts general hospital as a part of ISVIR – SIR International fellowship program was my breakthrough experience after almost a decade into Interventional radiology. Being a part of Interventional radiology department of Mass general hospital , as a clinical observer gave me an excellent exposure to American IR practice and protocols. Apart from observing a wide range of IR procedures, I witnessed the use of advanced imaging techniques and utilization of state of art equipment and technology. It was a great opportunity to interact closely with IR team, including attending physicians, residents , technicians , nurses and observe the efficient coordination and collaboration among team members . I gained valuable insights into patient care practices , clinical decision making processes , procedural planning and anticipation of challenges during procedures along with effective communication strategies among staff and patients.

Attending SIR conference was enlightening in terms of latest advancements, best IR practices , cutting edge techniques to innovative research presentations along with networking with fellow professionals. This observership program along with the SIR conference was a rewarding experience enhancing and reinforcing my practical skills and interest into IR .

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to faculty at Mass general hospital for their support and hospitality during my tenure. Special thanks to Dr Sanjeeva Kalva for his mentorship and Dr Ajit Yadav for my selection into this valuable program.
